Tupelo Honey is the Asheville, North Carolina, Southern chain's Denver room, on the ground floor of the Limelight hotel block at 16th and Wewatta. Every table gets the biscuits with blueberry jam and honey, and the rest is fried chicken, shrimp and grits, and a bourbon-heavy bar. Weekend brunch from 9am is the busiest service and the reason most people know it. Hours have contracted to an 8pm close every night, so it is a lunch and brunch place now more than a dinner one, and it works well before an afternoon Rockies game.
