Terminal Bar
Beer through the 1914 ticket windows, then take it out to the Great Hall or the plaza.
Terminal Bar occupies the original ticket office of Union Station: you order at the brass-grilled windows, and you can carry your beer into the Great Hall and sit on the sofas, or out onto the plaza patio facing Wynkoop, where there is free live music on summer Friday evenings from 5 to 8. It pours around thirty Colorado taps and does a short bar menu. It is the least formal thing in the building and the most used.
Why go. A local beer in the Great Hall, which is the whole point of the Great Hall.
Friday nights in summer the patio has a band and no cover; the inside bar is quietest mid-afternoon on weekdays.
