Snarf's Sandwiches
Toasted subs from the Boulder shop, open until nine every night
The Ballpark outpost of the Boulder-born sandwich chain, doing hot subs on toasted rolls: Italian, cheesesteak, and the eggplant parm that most people order a second time. Free pickled peppers and giardiniera sit on the counter. It is a small storefront on Broadway at 24th with a handful of tables, built mostly for takeout, open 10am to 9pm daily. Not a destination, but it is the dependable answer when you want a large sandwich in a stretch of town that runs heavily to bars.
Why go. A reliable hot sandwich on a block where most doors lead to a bar.
The pickled peppers on the counter are free, so load up before you sit down.
