Nola Jane Restaurant & Bar
Po'boys, gumbo and a 2am bar in the old Pour House space on Market.
Nola Jane took over the former Pour House Pub space at 1435 Market in 2021 (the Pour House moved across the street) and turned it into a New Orleans bar and kitchen: gumbo, etouffee, jambalaya, po'boys, crawfish when it is in season, and a bar that stays open until 2am seven days with the kitchen going past midnight. Westword readers voted it best new restaurant and best patio in its first year. It is casual, loud on weekends and one of the few LoDo kitchens serving real food after midnight.
Why go. A late plate of etouffee and a Sazerac after everything else on Market has closed.
Weekday happy hour runs 2–5pm; the patio is the seat to ask for on a summer evening.
