Nallen's Irish Pub
A dark, no-frills Irish bar that has outlasted every club on Market Street.
Nallen's has been on the 1400 block of Market since 1992, which in LoDo bar years is geologic. It is a small, dim room with a long bar, a real Guinness pour, a deep Irish whiskey list and not much else, and it opens at 2pm every day of the year. The block around it turns into a bottle-service strip after 10pm on weekends; Nallen's stays a pub, and the regulars are a mix of downtown workers, off-duty cooks and people waiting out the line next door.
Why go. A proper pint and a stool when the rest of Market Street is trying too hard.
Come at 2 or 3pm on a weekday if you want the bar to yourself; Friday and Saturday after 10pm it is standing room like everywhere else on the block.
