Nocturne Jazz & Supper Club

A dressed-up RiNo jazz room where the menu changes with the album.

Nicole and Scott Mattson opened Nocturne in 2015 in a 1920s brick warehouse on 27th Street, and it has held onto the idea that a jazz club can be a place you dress for. The room seats about a hundred around a stage that hosts a rotating cast of Denver's best players and a long-running artist-in-residence series; the tasting menu changes seasonally and is sometimes built around a classic album. It won a James Beard semifinalist nod for its bar program. This is the far edge of our map, a fifteen-minute walk from Coors Field up Larimer.

Why go. A whole evening in one room: jazz, dinner, cocktails, no rushing.

Reserve; the two-set nights fill on weekends. The bar seats are the cheapest way in.
