Whiskey Bar
Six hundred bottles behind the bar in a nineteenth-century hotel

The ground floor of the old Burlington Hotel building at 22nd and Larimer, one of the last nineteenth-century structures left on the block. It reads like a dive and pours like something else: a whiskey list running past six hundred bottles, plus a happy hour people plan their evening around. Doors at 4pm most days and 3pm Saturday. Two blocks from Coors Field, which it mostly ignores.
Why go. A deep whiskey list at prices that do not punish curiosity.
Come for happy hour and let the bartender narrow the list; six hundred bottles is not a menu you read.
