STACK Subs

Family-run toasted sub counter built for the downtown lunch hour

A small, family-owned sandwich shop on the ground floor of an office tower at 17th and Market, open only on weekdays and only until 2:30. The bread gets toasted, the meats and vegetables are cut daily, and the line moves. It is not a destination so much as the thing you are glad exists when you have thirty-five minutes and a laptop to get back to. There is a second location in Lakewood; this is not a franchise. Breakfast sandwiches and espresso in the morning.

Why go. Because a fast, good sandwich near Union Station is harder to find than it should be.

Weekends are out entirely, and the doors shut at 2:30 sharp on weekdays, so this is a lunch plan and nothing else.
