The Delectable Egg
A Denver breakfast institution since 1982, omelets and Benedicts until 2pm.
The Delectable Egg is a small Denver-born breakfast chain that goes back to 1982, and the Market Street room is its LoDo branch, a short walk from Union Station and the 16th Street mall. It does the full American breakfast and lunch card: skillets, omelets, eggs Benedict, French toast, salads and sandwiches, with a full bar for mimosas and Bloody Marys. Open every day from 7am to 2pm. It is not a destination brunch; it is the place that seats you, feeds you well, and gets you out before the game or the train.
Why go. A no-drama hangover breakfast or business breakfast that starts at seven.
Weekend brunch after 9:30am gets a wait; weekdays you can walk in.
