Chicago thin-crust pizza and Italian beef · $

Da Sauce

Chicago tavern-cut pizza and Italian beef, open until 3am on weekends by the ballpark.

Da Sauce is a Chicago transplant in the same low building as Tokio at 29th and Huron, a block west of Coors Field. It cuts thin-crust pizza into tavern squares, dips Italian beef with giardiniera and house sweet peppers, and makes its own ice cream. Upstairs is a game room with a pool table and cheap drinks, and on Friday and Saturday it stays open until 3am, which puts it in a very short list of post-game kitchens. Private parties start at $199. Hours shift, so check before a weekday visit.

Why go. Late-night pizza and beef after a game or a show, with a pool table upstairs.

Ask for the beef dipped; the game room is the place to wait out post-game traffic.
