The Clocktower Cabaret

Burlesque, drag and comedy in the basement under the D&F clock tower.

Down a flight of stairs beneath the Daniels & Fisher clock tower, in a hundred-seat room that has been running shows since 2006. It started as Lannie Garrett's cabaret and books the same mix now: burlesque tributes, drag revues, stand-up, circus acts and live music, with a new lineup most weeks. Full bar, table service, and no seat more than a few rows off the stage. Lonnie Hanzon designed the space, which is why it reads as a small Parisian room rather than a black box. Bachelorette parties love it. Go on a Thursday if you would rather they did not.

Why go. Nowhere else downtown puts you three feet from a burlesque act with a cocktail in hand.

Buy early for the front tables and take the earlier show if you want to hear the performers over the crowd.
