The Original
A 1950s diner reworked for McGregor Square, breakfast and lunch only.
The Original, or The OG as the hotel calls it, opened in spring 2021 with the Rally Hotel at McGregor Square, the Rockies-owned block across 20th Street from Coors Field. It borrows from mid-century diners and old railway dining cars: all-day breakfast, big sandwiches, soups, a Croughnut slider burger and boozy milkshakes, served 7am to 3pm every day. Because it closes mid-afternoon it is a breakfast, brunch and day-game lunch place, not a dinner one. On a Sunday home game the plaza outside fills three hours before first pitch.
Why go. A sit-down breakfast or pre-first-pitch lunch across the street from the ballpark gates.
On day-game Sundays get there before 10am; after that it runs on a wait with the whole plaza.
