Cocktails in a room where the greenery is all for sale
An Orlando bar that took the old Dead Battery Club space at 17th and Platte in January 2020 and kept the odd premise: nearly every plant in the room has a price on it, so you can leave with a monstera and a hangover. Cocktails are made properly, there is craft beer on draught and a short food menu, and the room is small enough that you end up talking to whoever is next to you. Quieter than the Platte Street bars two blocks south, which is the point.
Why go. A calm, planted room a block off the busiest bar block in LoHi.
Come on a weeknight before six, when the staff have time to walk you through the plants and the list.
