Gerard's Pool Hall

Brunswick tables, dark wainscoting, and a door you have to find

The entrance is in the alley between Walnut and Larimer, which is the first thing to know and the reason people walk past it. Inside: Brunswick tables, wainscoted walls, low light, and a full bar doing real cocktails rather than pitchers. Westword described it in September 2025 as sitting between old Denver and new Denver, which is fair for a room that feels like it has been there forty years and had in fact been open less than two. It runs to 1am seven nights, and there is a sister room in Kansas City.

Why go. A proper billiards room, open till one every night, hidden off an alley two blocks from Coors Field.

The door is in the alley between Walnut and Larimer; there is no street-facing sign to look for.
