Death & Co opened its first location outside New York here in 2018, in the lobby of the Ramble Hotel at 25th and Larimer. The room is dark wood and low light, the menu runs long, and the bartenders will build to a description if you would rather talk than read. Walk-ins are first come, first served for parties up to eight, with a reservation line on Tock if you want certainty. Upstairs, Suite 6A runs a booking-only tasting menu, and DC/AM handles coffee and breakfast in the same building.

Arrive at 3pm or after 10pm; the seven-to-nine window is when the wait gets long.
